The arrival of USB-C on the iPhone is the biggest change of this year. Presented by Tim Cook as a victory for the consumer,this change is mainly the result of pressure from Brussels, which had to use all its political resources to twist Apple's arm and obtain the universalization of charging ports.
On the Cupertino side, the arrival of USB-C on iPhones makes it possible to group all Apple products with the same charging port. After having introduced this standard on iPads and MacBooks, it is now the turn of the iPhones. As a reminder, Apple has actively worked on the development of USB-C vial’USB Consortium.It is the first company to introduce this new connection on computers, the MacBook Pro of 2019.
iPhone 15: USB-C, what next?
During this evening's back-to-school keynote, Apple has just presented the iPhone 15 in detail.
