iPhone 15: finally lower prices for the next generation?

Despite a much more expensive price than the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 14 Pro seems to be selling very well. Indeed, according to almost all analyst reports published in recent weeks, everything suggests that the iPhone 14 Plus is a realflop. Apple really wouldn't sell as many as expected. And for the group, the lesson has already been learned: a source affirms that decisions have already been taken accordingly. These would concern not only the technical sheet of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, but also their price.

iPhone 15 Plus: better results in 2023?

As for value, to begin with, Apple would thus considerlower the price of iPhone 15 Plusto avoid this year's debacle. If the facts are proven, it will be the first time in a long time that prices have fallen. As a reminder, the iPhone 14 Plus today costs 1,169 euros in France. It is impossible to know at the moment to what extent the manufacturer wants to reduce the bill, but you should know that there is only a 150 euro difference between this version and the basic iPhone 14.

In theory, such a change could actually deliver more sales success for the iPhone 15 Plus than for its predecessor. For the technical sheet, its predecessor offers a 6.7-inch panel and a notch on the front. Butrumors assurethat the latter could soon disappear from Apple mobiles, allowing everyone to benefit from the excellentDynamic Island. Let us remember, however, that all this information remains guesswork, with only the manufacturer being able to validate or invalidate it next year.

Restructuring of the range

With this, Apple couldfurther distinguish the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro ranges. Today, if we compare the iPhone 14 / iPhone 14 Plus duo with the iPhone 14 Pro / iPhone 14 Pro Max pair, it is above all the camera that makes the difference. The most expensive models are indeed equipped with a telephoto lens and LiDAR, which is not the case with the others. The screen also benefits from a frequency of 120 Hz appreciated for gaming, again an advantage not available on classic editions.

But then, how can we further widen the gap between iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro? Difficult to know at the moment, especially since the materials used for the hull are a third element of comparison. Bets are on.
