Brand new accessibility features with iOS 13: for color blindness and other difficulties

Since the debut of the iPhone, Apple has placed special emphasis on accessibility features, so that even people with disabilities can use their devices.

Apple regularly adds new accessibility features, and iOS 13 is no exception. The upcoming new version of iOS integrates severalnew features for colorblind and motion-sensitive usersof the interface.

Users sensitive to movements have the possibility ofdisable autoplay of video previews, in all Apple apps. And this is thanks to a new setting in the accessibility movement section.

Thanks to an API signed by Apple, developers will be able to integrate this functionality into their apps.

Also for users who have motion sensitivity, there is new accessibility settingto minimize animations. It allows toreduce UI control animations, which appear and disappear by sliding.

You must check the “Reduce animations” option in accessibility, to see this new option called “Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions“.

Finally for color blind people, there is a new accessibility function, “Differentiate without color“, in the “Display and text size” section. This functionreplaces interface elementsuser, which provide information only using colorsby other elements.
