It's back to school, or almost, for
operators as well. So,Sosh announced new features
last week
and it's the turn ofBouygues Telecomto put
forward its great novelty, the4G deployed nationally in

.

We followedthe authorization granted to
Bouygues to use Edge frequencies to pass 4G in this
article
last March and the launch date will therefore be1er
October
. The good news for iPhone 5 owners is that the
frequency band used, namely 1800 MHz, iscompatible with the
4G/LTE de l’iPhone 5
.

On this occasion, Bouygues announced a new range of 4G packages, without
commitment (unless the package is taken with a smartphone):

  • an unlimited package with3Goto make use of29,99
(promo for 6 months until 5/01/2014, after 10 euros
additional, unless commitment, for which the price seems to be retained
during the duration of the commitment)
  • an unlimited package with8Goto make use of39,99
(promo for 6 months until 5/01/2014, after 10 euros
additional, unless commitment, for which the price seems to be retained
during the duration of the commitment)

To be able to use the iPhone 5 on this network, an update of the
operator parameters will have to be deployed by Apple according to the information
indicated on the Bouygues Telecom forum and it will be necessarycheck that
your city is well covered with 4G at 1800 MHz
.

At the same time, we can hope thatl’iPhone 5S
will finally be compatible with all 4G offers from the various
French operators…
