Every two years, the iPhone becomes more and more
thinner, and that of next year or "iPhone 7" should not escape
not to this rule.
Indeed, according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, very well known and still
knowledgeable about future Apple products, next year's iPhone
would have a thickness comprisedbetween 6.0 and 6.5 mmwho
would be close to that of the iPod touch (6.1 mm).
For comparison, the iPhone 6 and 6S Plus have respectively
thickness of 6.9 and 7.1 mm.
Ming-Chi Kuo's report also suggests that Apple would use the year
next, the same Force Touch technology as planned in the next
iPhone, which should be unveiled this Wednesday, September 9. This goes against
of a recent rumor that suggested Apple might change technology
screen by going from "in-cell" to "glass to glass" used in old
generations of iPhone.
Because if "glass to glass" screen technology allows equal resolution
or higher than 4K as well as the reduction of borders around the screen,
the use of this technology would be to the detriment of the thickness of
the iPhone, and for Apple this is a key marketing element to promote
son smartphone.
But we have plenty of time to see new reports and rumors arrive on
the iPhone 7, because this weekit will be room for the iPhone
6s! Go to
