Koogeek
is a manufacturer specializing in connected homes, which wants to compete with
large players already in place with aggressive prices in general. He proposes
different solutionscompatibles HomeKit, for lighting
for example, with in particular a socket
presented hereand a light bulb currently
on sale elsewhere here, but also for other areas of home automation.
In particular, we had
tested the Homekit controlled electrical outlet and was particularly
seduced. To complete its range of HomeKit accessories, the manufacturer has
recently launched a new lighting product: theribbon
LED.
- The Koogeek LED strip
is available herefor less than 30 euros
We know this type of product from Philips in particular, which offers a
connected HomeKit version
available there, but it requires a Philips Hue bridge, like the majority
of its bulbs and other lighting systems from the Hue range.
Advantage for Koogeek therefore, with this new LED strip:none
connection gateway is required, the ribbon connects
directly to the smartphone, to be configured in the app
Koogeek
available here on the App Store, or simply in the app
Maisonthanks to HomeKit compatibility. It is then
possible to control it by voice via Siri or to integrate it with automations
via HomeKitsee
