Tick tock tick tock. March 15 is fast approaching, and this date will mark the launch ofthe third season ofTed Lassoon Apple TV+. For a long time,rumorsraised the possibility that this would not be the end of the adventures of the famous coach, but Bill Lawrence, the creator of the fiction, confirmed it, this season 3 should finish the main story.
But this would only be a goodbye for the flagship saga of the streaming platform. Quoted byDeadline, the series' main star, Jason Sudeikis, first explained:“It’s the end of the story that we wanted to tell, that we hoped to tell, that we loved to tell.” The fact that people want more and are curious to know more than what they haven't seen yet, namely season 3, is flattering. »

And the actor doesn't stop there, since there is now open talk of spin-off series for Ted Lasso:“Yes, I think we set up a story so other people could develop new plots. Again, I can't help but take the question as flattery for what everyone who worked on the show was trying to do. »
We won't know more for now, but the terms chosen by Jason Sudeikis say a lot, and show that the door is clearly not closed. In the meantime, all eyes are on these final twelve episodes which should be worth the detour.
