In recent months, we have seen several reports stating that the iPhoneencountered production problems, which may cause a delay. This was confirmed by Apple during its conference, of which we have summarized the main announcementsin this article.
Apple has indeed announced that the iPhone XR will not be available before October 26. According to a new report from The Verge, problems with cutting the LCD screenof the iPhone XR, arethe cause of this delay.
The IDC firm communicated to the American site that Apple had tochanged the LCD screen settingsof the iPhone XR, forimprove visual renderingof the one.
For their part, Apple's subcontractors had problems obtaining aprecise cutting of the LCD screen notch. This would have led to light leak issues with the iPhone XR's backlight. However, they have been resolved.
This still caused a production delay of 1 month on schedule. Which explains the delayed launch of this highly anticipated model.
As we saw inour comparative article on the iPhone XS and the iPhone XR, the differences are minimal between the two models. As a result, a good number of users prefer to wait for the cheapest model in the new range.
And for those who prefer the best model, the iPhone XS and XS Max, pre-orders have been open since this morning. It is possible to order it on different sites, which we have listedin this article.
