While Apple took the gamble a few years ago of launching, with delay, into the world of video streaming, the new Apple platform needed a flagship series, capable of attracting a basic audience for grow the project behindApple TV+.

But while filming for the third season is underway, the cast teams have assured that it will be the last, despite the many expectations made by fans. But unfortunately for all the people who assiduously followed the first two seasons around Nate, Sam, Roy, Keeley and others, the choice seems to be made internally.
Ted Lasso: three seasons and then gone
If platforms are often criticized for pushing series to the limits, in order to maximize profit, at the cost of an increasingly far-fetched scenario (as in the Casa de Papel to take just this example ) Apple and the people behind the production of Ted Lasso do not seem to have made this choice.
Indeed, even the actors, like Nick Mohammed (Nate) confirmed that the writers always had in mind the idea of thinking of a beginning, a middle and an end to this story. According to the actor, this leaves no doubt, season 3 will be the last, it will thus mark the end of a very good series for Apple which will have served as a launching pad for the platform. Now it's up to her to prove herself.
