Will the iMac soon have the right to a 30-inch version?

Apple never stops developing new products. But in addition to the iPhone which is entitled to its new model every year, Apple is reportedly working on yet another iMac. The desktop computer would have a huge 30-inch screen for the occasion. Currently the largest iMac has a diagonal of 27 inches.

According to information from journalist Mark Gurman, shared in the latest edition of his newsletter, the arrival of this iMac is not imminent, the development of the product is only in its early stages. He thinks the computer could arrive within a few months withthe M3 chipor even at the end of next year, directly with the M4 processor generation.

Is the iMac Pro finished?

Rumors around a new iMac, however, undermine the prospects for the iMac Pro. The high-end computer intended for professional use (as its name suggests) has still not been updated by Tim Cook's teams. When the first Apple Silicon (M1) chip arrived in November 2020, Apple announced that the change from Intel chips to Apple chips should take 24 months.

Almost three years after the launch of this revolution, still no iMac Pro with an Apple Silicon chip inside. As the development of iMacs continues, the hope of one day seeing an iMac Pro with an M-series chip is dwindling by the day.
