- A designer released an iPhone concept with a second screen
- Like the Touch Bar, this panel allows you to display basic information but is not essential
- The price of this imaginary product seems way too high
A new illustrated concept imagines what a high-end iPhone could look like with a second screen on the back, right next to the photo sensor. The design is of course reminiscent of that of Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 5, which benefits from a second panel allowing you to preview the result of group photos in order to do without a self-timer. With our model of the day, however, it would be possible with this display to consult the time, the name of a series currently being viewed on the Apple TV or even information from the Health app and concerning your physical activity .
This concept, created by Antonio de Rosa, is not a first for the artist. We indeed already owe him aother design, this time attempting to represent Apple's mixed reality headset before it is released. In the end, however, the device will be much more imposing, but the format proposed by the graphic designer could have turned out to be much more practical, because it is more compact.

Called “iPhone Vision”, this imaginary model offers, as a bonus, nothing less than an 8x zoom for the camera. If the figure may make you smile at first glance, especially when you know that Apple is particularly limited in this area, in reality the idea makes sense. Indeed, it has been rumored for several months now that Cupertino is thinking about “periscope” technology for the lenses of its premium mobiles.
This system, which takes the form of an accordion-like tangle of glasses, makes it possible to miniaturize the sensor while making it more efficient. In short, not only does your magnification capacity become more powerful here, but with this you gain space under the hood. Potentially useful space for a larger battery, for example.

Watch out for the price!
If this concept is unusual, so is its price. Indeed, Antonio de Rosa offers to sell this over-equipped mobile for the tidy sum of… $1,599. For comparison, recall thatl’iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple's most advanced smartphone to date, costs 1,099 dollars across the Atlantic or from 1,479 euros here.
So, certainly, the screen is known to be the most expensive component sold by Apple subcontractors. But all the same, from there to sign a price increase of almost 30% for a simple additional indicator on the back… Moreover, the Galaxy Z Flip 5couldalso be entitled to a more imposing back screen, yet the value of the product would be similar to that of its predecessor, according to our colleagues fromPresse-citron.net.
