unveil the new features that application developers are going to
floor during the summer.

to end and here is a complete summary of the announcements, new features and
surprises from this conference!
What's new in iOS 12
This year, as rumored, Apple focused on
improving the performance and stability of the OS. The idea is
in particular to benefit the oldest devices. Here's what it takes
remember in this regard:
- iOS 12 available forall devices compatible with iOS
11: up to iPhone 5s from 2013 - Reworked performances for oldies
devices: the example is given with an iPhone 6 Plus. Apple

actions in a new Apple app, "Shortcuts, which can be launched by

New features for managing iPhone or iPad usage

Messages et FaceTime

the fact that Apple does not want to merge macOS and iOS.

Apple is currently working on a project to easily port iOS apps to
macOS. This is already the case for certain Apple apps seen on macOS Mojave, such as
Home or News, but from 2019, all developers will be able to easily port
their iOS app for Mac.
Other conference announcements and information
When he arrived on stage at the start of the conference, Tim Cook delivered some
interesting figures, particularly one month before the 10th anniversary of
the iOS App Store. Here are the ones we selected:
- Apple's App Store registers around 20 million developers
Apple - The iOS App Store has 500 million visitors per week
- Tim Cook took the opportunity to highlight the 100 billion dollars

evening. And finally, apart from the new iOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS software,
you should know that CarPlay should soon support the applications of
third-party navigation, such as Waze or Google Maps.
