Look Around comes to Apple Maps in a new country

Look Around is a feature of the Apple Maps mapping service that allows you to find yourself in an environment at360°in order to find your way around big cities. If that doesn't mean anything to you, that's normal: only the United States benefited from this alternative toGoogleStreet View (Maps) until now.

But now, one more country has been scanned by the Apple brand's smart cars. This is Japan, and more precisely Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Kyoto. To discover these places as if you were there, click on a street, then on thebinoculars iconwhich is then displayed on the screen.

Soon somewhere else?

Appledid not specify which will be the next cities to also be entitled to this format. The deployment schedule remains quite vague, but it is very likely that passers-by will soon begin to recognize the company's vehicles responsible for capturing future photos.

These are in fact equipped with an imposing sensor on the roof, which does not go unnoticed, as you can notice in the image above captured in Ottawa (Canada). Stay alert, and send us your images if you are lucky enough to come across onecarApple Plans !
