News on a modified design and materials for the AirPods 2 and details on the AirPower charger?

According to arecent DigiTimes report, Apple is expected to release a second version of AirPods in the first half of 2019. A similar release range had previously beenmentioned by star analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo.

The MySmartPrice blog has just publishednew informationregarding thenext generation of AirPods, as well as the highly anticipated wireless charger from Apple, theAirPower.

According to this report from MySmartPrice, this v2 of AirPods should be releasedduring spring, which corroborates other rumors on the subject, such asthat of Digitimes.

We also and above all learn that these new AirPods would have anew designand aanti-slip coating. This coating would make it easier to handle in the hands, as well as to hold it in the ears. It would only be present onthe upper part of the headphones, the one that goes into the ear, as well ason the AirPods case, certainly to prevent it from slipping out of the hands.

The MySmartPrice report further mentions aimproved audio qualityheadphones, a newblack color, as well as anew designwhich would make it possible to offerbest bass.

Still according to the same sources, Apple's wireless charger or AirPower would bethickerthan the model originally planned and which was presented at the iPhone X keynote. This would be attributed to the use of numerous charging coils inside the AirPower.

This report also mentions“exclusive” featureson the AirPower, which would comewith iOS 13. It's not clear what this could mean, other than perhaps a faster recharging speed, with a power higher than 7.5 W.

This is new information to be taken with a grain of salt, as this is the first time we've heard of a new coating for the AirPods. In addition, the MySmartPrice site is not very well known in the world of Apple rumors.
