New places to visit in Fly Over in Plans including two sites in France

Gradually, Apple
continues to add new cities (and geographic locations) in the
world at the functionFlyover de Plans. The latter allows
browse the streets and places modeled in 3D, find herehow to launch this amazing mode
of Plans
.

Apple has added 11 new locations to Flyover, two of which are French, it
s’agit d’AnnecyandGorges of
Ardèche
:

In addition to these two French locations, this update allows you to discover 9
other locations: Monument Valley in Arizona, Detroit in Michigan,
Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, Pensacola in Florida, Mazatlan in Mexico, Antwerp
in Belgium, Münster in Germany, Pamplona in Spain, and Utrecht in
The Netherlands.

Annecy and the Gorges de l'Ardèche are added to thelist of
French cities in 3D already available in Maps
.

Below, a 3D view of the city of Annecy and its famous lake: this
is not a "photo", but a 3D model that can be zoomed and
viewed from all angles!

And here are two on theArdèche gorges. For those who
want to relive their canoe-kayak descent, their last climb or
prepare the trip, access to the area covered by Flyover can be done by
searching for example "Vallon-Pont-D'arc".

The Flyover zone is less dark than the rest of the landscape. And then it's
happiness, a real virtual descent, as long as the speed of the connection
follows, because there is a lot of relief to trace.

Flyover mode is quite slow to deploy, because it requires a large
capture and modeling work, but it remains unique to maps
d’Apple.

This unfortunately does not replace Street View present at the
competitor Google Maps. But Apple is working on the subject and should eventually
proposephotographic viewsin several cities. His
cars crisscross the US, but also London and Paris (you have been
several to come across them and send us the photos, thank you!).
