iPhone SE, iPhone X, Watch Series 1, etc. : the products that Apple has deleted (but we still find some!)

The conference offered by Apple yesterday from its Californian premises focused on two major Apple products as we could seein our summary, extensively commented! L’iPhone and Apple Watch took the spotlightwith important announcements likenouvel iPhone XS Maxor thecolorful iPhone XR.

As usual, the appearance of new models triggers a reorganization of Apple's ranges, with thedisappearance of products from past years. When the Apple site was updated, several notable deletions were noted! Fortunately, he isstill possible to obtain these models, as long as there is stock...

The iPhone X is no longer on sale at Apple, but available elsewhere

The iPhone X released last year is notno longer available for sale on the Apple website. This is not a surprise because the rumors announced it several months ago already.

Some thought the model had sold poorly and that it would be removed because of it. The reason is of course quite different, Apple replaced it with its successor: the XS. Here we have a usual change, a year in “S” with a machine with internal improvements, a new color but no exterior change, with one exception this year: the notable arrival of the XS Max.

What changes compared to past years is theremoval of previous model from sale. We can undoubtedly find the reason in the arrival of the new iPhone XR. The X with a falling price would have come into conflict with the latter, which undoubtedly ensures a better margin for Apple than an X, even a year later.

SOis the X finished?Non !

For those who have it it isan excellent machine, just as good as before yesterday and it doesn't have much less than an iPhone XS!

Furthermore, it isstill on saleelsewhere than at Apple, as long as stock remains and depending on the prices offered, this could be a good deal!

You can find them at Amazon at these prices:

The worrying disappearance of the iPhone SE

If we had to talk about a surprise, it clearly arrived with the iPhone SE. If for several weeks we had abandoned the hypothesis of an iPhone SE 2 presented during yesterday's conference due to lack of tangible leaks, nothing suggested the end of its sale.

We can't really explain it since, unlike the X, no model comes to replace it. Its small size (and its price) made it a particularly popular model for those who don't like taking up too much space, for small hands and small pockets. We still note that its A9 processor is that of the iPhone 6s, also no longer sold by Apple…

Worse, its removal from the rangewithout a replacement being offered is worrying for everyone who was waiting for an iPhone SE 2(same size, entry-level price but newer processor). Will Apple one day offer an SE 2? Nothing is less certain now.

So here again, there is still stock on sale elsewhere than at Apple, this will probably not last. We find iton sale here from 269 euros

The iPhone 6s disappears

Unsurprisingly, this model was logically destined to no longer be offered by Apple this year. Although compatible with iOS 12 and still efficient, Apple regularly releases models and now has more recent ones to offer with the iPhone 7 and 8.

It should be noted in passing that after this “cleaning”, the range of iPhones sold by Apple now does not offerno more models with mini-jack headphone jack.

Bye Bye Apple Watch Séries 1

Finally, as with the iPone range, Apple has withdrawn the oldest smartwatch model still sold on its store, namely the Apple Watch Series 1.

The range now starts with the Series 3 at €299.

How do you interpret the disappearance of the iPhone X and SE?
