iPhone XR pre-orders: how to prepare your order, where to buy it?

This year, Apple launched its new iPhones later. The XS and XS Max models were released onlast September 21, pre-orders having taken place a week before. For theiPhone XR, the cheapest model of the new trio, the release is for October 26. Pre-orders take place tomorrow morningFriday October 19 at 9:01 a.m..

For this model with a designvery close to the iPhonefrom 2017, andof this year's iPhone XS, stocks may be limited. For those who have decided to equip themselves, it is better to plan ahead to get their hands on the first copies delivered, especially since analysts are counting on very good sales!

So here are thedates, advice and other details to be ready on D-day:

When can you pre-order and buy iPhone X?

Apple announced it during the last conference in September, iPhone XR pre-orders will take place fromthis Friday October 19. And as always for a new iPhone, the opening of pre-orders will take place at9:01 a.m. sharp, French time.

Then the machine will bedeliveredeton sale in store 7 days later, i.e. from Friday October 26.

As we have seen recently however, iPhone XR production is expected to be difficult this year.

This also means that you will have to be in the starting blocks on Friday morning, to be among the first to place a pre-order and therefore to be delivered.

How to prepare your iPhone X order?

As is often the case and for almost every iPhone, to be sure of receiving your model next Friday or in the days that follow, you will have to be among the first to validate your order. And sometimes, it can be a matter of seconds. It is therefore necessary to haveeverything prepared in advance.

And from experience, it happens that the application is ahead of the website, or that one is more or less saturated than the other, so it is preferable toprepare your order in advance, on the app and the website, to be sure to be responsive as soon as pre-orders open.

Here are some points to anticipate:

1 – Choose your machine:no question of procrastinating when putting the iPhone XR in the basket! You have to know which model you want before pre-ordering. It can be smart to designate a second or even a third choice in advance if choice number 1 is already no longer available.

The iPhone XR is available in 6 colors, White, Black, Blue, Coral, (Product)Red and Yellow, and in three memory capacities. It is this last parameter which will influence the price: the 64 GB model is 855 euros, the 256 GB model is 917 euros and the 256 GB model is 1027 euros.

2 – Check your credit card limit:The iPhone XR is one of the most expensive iPhones offered by Apple, behind the XS/XS Max model. It is therefore better to be careful and check that the limit of your credit card allows this purchase, in particular in relation to purchases made previously, depending on the calculation method (rolling days, monthly, etc.).

It would be a shame to have got your hands on a model, to have the money in your account, but not to be able to finalize the transaction due to the credit card limit being reached.

3 – Log in and check your payment settings the day before: in order to be as efficient as possible when ordering, there is no question of having to enter the numbers of your credit card by hand or enter your delivery address, especially as this can be done well before. So, you might as well anticipate and check that your account is complete in terms of information.

Please note, during a product launch, Apple has the habit ofshut down the site several hours before orders start. It is then no longer possible to access your account. It is therefore necessarycarry out credit card number checks, validity and other preferred delivery locations well before October 19, at the latest the evening before.

What if everything goes wrong?
