THEiPhone XS et XS Maxhave been available since last Friday. But the iPhone XR, the third model announced this year, remains absent for the moment. It will not be availablethat from next October 26in store, while pre-orders will be made from19 of the same month. The LCD panel would be the main cause of this lag,as seen there, with suppliers encountering difficulties on production lines. Apple would have preciselyreorganized its iPhone XR productionto try tolimit the delay, in a proactive manner:
Initially, Apple's two historic suppliers Foxconn and Pegatron shared the assembly of iPhone XR as follows: 50 to 60% for the first, approximately 30% for the second. But Apple has reportedly asked Foxconn to increase production. Pegatron would therefore lose a lot by seeing its iPhone XR orders significantly decrease.
The latter would in fact have had difficulty keeping up with the pace of assembly due todelay in delivery of components from China.

By delaying the arrival of its iPhone XR until October, Apple would have already lost a lot, some analysts say. This model is in fact expected tovery good sales, with its characteristics close to those of the iPhone XS and a more attractive price.
