Apple TV+: the calendar of the next big releases

Apple TV+ is available in Francesince the end of 2019. This is a service launched at the time by Apple to compete with the video streaming giants that were Netflix and Amazon Prime Video at the time. These two actors are still references today, but Apple TV+ is gradually gaining new paying subscribers and above all is slowly but surely enriching its catalog of quality productions.

• City on Fire :series adapted from the eponymous novel by Garth Risk Hallberg recounting the fate of several characters around the murder of a young student in New York in the 70s (2022)
• Disclaimer :thriller series with Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline, directed and produced by Alfonso Cuarón (2022)
• Emancipation :film directed by Antoine Fuqua starring Will Smith (2022)
• Extrapolations: Meryl Streep and Matthew Rhys in the casting of this mini-series (8 episodes), wanting to tell the effects on humanity that the next climate changes could cause (2022)
• Hello Tomorrow! :drama series set in a retrofuturistic universe, led by actor Billy Crudup (2022)
• Killers of the Flower Moon :based on a true story, that of a man who killed his wife's entire family in order to profit from the inheritance. Announced casting: Leonardi Di Caprio, Robert De Niro, but also Lily Gladstone, with Martin Scoresese directing (2022)
• In With the Devil: 6-episode mini-series, telling the story of two prisoners in search of redemption. From the book In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption (July 8, 2022)
• High Desert (2022)
• Liaisons :first original Apple TV+ series co-produced with France. It is a drama mixing love stories, espionage and politics. We will find many French actors in the cast, including Vincent Cassel and Eva Green (2022)
• The Big Door Prize :new ten-episode comedy series by Schitt's Creek screenwriter David West Read. This fiction tells the story of a community who discovers the presence of a magical machine that predicts the future... in the local grocery store (2022)

In 2023 and later

• Amber Brown :new Apple TV+ comedy series hosted by Sarah Drew and Carsyn Rose. It will tell the story of a girl discovering a talent for singing while at home having to deal with her parents' divorce.
• For Argy:spy film directed by Matthew Vaughn, with the cast, Samuel L. Jackson, Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Dua Lipa, but also Ariana Debose (release in 2023)
• Bad Blood :the descent into hell of Elizabeth Holmes, CEO of the failed startup Theranos, will be adapted into the filmBad Bloodwith Jennifer Lawrence in the role of the manager sued by her investors
• Bad Monkey :10-episode drama series, produced by Bill Lawrence known for his work on Ted Lasso, and with Vince Vaugh in the cast. The latter will play Andrew Yancy, a detective investigating a human body part found in a lake in Florida
• Bride :drama film
• Carpool Karaoke :a fifth season is in preparation
• Dear Edward :adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jason Katims
• Dolly :science fiction drama film
• Echo 3 :suspense series including Elizabeth Anweis in the cast
• Five Days at Memorial :disaster series, telling the true story of the nursing staff at a Louisiana hospital after Hurricane Katrina
• Foundation: Apple has already formalized the production of a season 2
• Get Rolling with Otis
• Ghosted :film project with an impressive cast. Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson will star in this new release directed by Dexter Fletcher (Bohemian Rhapsody,Rocketman) and written by the duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Deadpool,Welcome to Zombieland)

• Grateful Dead: musical biopic on the famous American psychedelic rock group directed by Martin Scorsese, with Jonah Hill in the lead role
• Hijack: the way of24 hours flat,InHijack, it will involve following Idris Elba in the context of a plane hijacking, for 7 hours, each hour constituting a 60-minute episode
• Invasion :second season in production
• Lady in the Lake :series worn by Natalie Portman
• Masters of the Air :drama miniseries produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg

• Now and Then :10-episode thriller series. The story takes place in Miami and is carried by a group of students, one of whose members dies at the university. 20 years later, all the members of the group of friends still remember it
• Oprah Winfrey (title unknown): Apple has ordered a two-part documentary on the most famous television personality across the Atlantic

• The Changeling :serial adaptation of the eponymous fantasy novel by Victor LaValle, telling the story of a woman losing her mind following the birth of her child
• The Crowded Room :series inspired by Billy's biographyMilligan : The Minds of Billy Milligan, signed Daniel Keyes. It tells the story of a man suffering from multiple personality syndrome, at least in the first season of 10 episodes. Tom Holland has been announced to the casting
• The Dynasty :documentary in 10 episodes on the NFL and more specifically the New England Patriots team. Release date unknown.
• The Essex Serpet :series based on the eponymous short story by Sarah Perry. The story takes place in England in 1893.
• The Greatest Beer Run Ever :based on the book The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty and War by Peter Farrelly. In the casting of this new film, we can find big names, including Zach Efron and Russell Crowe, but also Jake Picking, Will Ropp, Archie Renaux and Kyle Allen
• The Last Thing He Told Me: with Jennifer Garner

• The Mosquito Coast :season 2 of the series worn by Justin Theroux

• The New Look :series filmed in Paris with Juliette Binoche,telling the story of Christian Dior
• The Reluctant Traveler :new series with travel as the main theme, already including actor Eugene Levy in the cast
• The Search for WondLa :fantasy series
• Wool :series based on the story of the Silo book trilogy, by Hugh Howey. In it, humanity lives recluse in giant underground silos, to protect itself from the outside air which has become toxic and unbreathable after an apocalyptic event. Tim Robbins is announced for the casting
• Yo Gabba Gabba!: children's television series
