Analysis
Jun Zhangfrom companiesRosenblatt Securitiesa
issued a note to investors, which contains
several forecastson Apple products of 2018, including
some surprising and previously unheard. Zhang sees
notably arrive this year anew HomePodentry of
range, asecond edition of the iPhone SE, andnew
Apple Pencilcompatible in particular iPhone X 2018 and aiPad
with Face ID.
Concerning the entry-level version of the Apple HomePod, Jun Zhang positions it
hasabout 150 to 200 dollars, when the current version costs
349 dollarsacross the Atlantic. Apple would release this news
pregnant forcompete with more accessible solutionspour
the general public seen at other market giants, such as Amazon and its
Echo speaker range, whose model 2 costs 100 euros in
Europe, and the Plus 150 model.
This mini HomePod would arrive, according to the analysis,in the fall
2018.
At this same period, anew iPhone
6.5 inches, a hypothesis
already supported by other tech specialists. Zhang nevertheless adds that
the beast, big screen version of the iPhone X from 2017,could be
used with Apple Pencil 2, the second iteration of the stylus
from Apple initially developed for the iPad Pro.
Speaking of tablets, by the way, it's aiPad with Face
IDwhat Zhang expects this year, which constitutes aprediction
also already supported by previous reports.
Finally, concerning less significant announcements, it is also a question
in the note, of anew iPhone SE, which would come out
before summer 2018. Ming-Chi Kuo, another renowned analyst
Apple specialist,saw to
this about fairly minor developmentscompared to the iPhone SE
2016.
And then like the iPhone 7, which a few months after its release
experienced areissue (PRODUCT)RED, the iPhone 8 could
know the same destiny and thus see each otherdecline in red
to support the fight against AIDS.
For the iPhonedon't count on the appearance
of a RED version, since the special construction of the
standard smartphone from Apple and more precisely its metal frame would make
the colorization task much more complicated.
Obviously keeping a grain of salt, which of these hypotheticals
Apple newswould be most interested?
