iOS 7 survey: 7000 votes later, here is your opinion on the new features introduced

iOS 7was presented two years ago
weeks and the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system has already
does itsubject of numerous articles to read here. With a
completely new design, Apple took a risk (it was expected!) and iOS 7
do not leave indifferent.

This is precisely why we decided to ask your opinion
in this articlein order to
know your opinion on the new features of our iPhone operating system
and iPad.

Aftermore than 7000 votesand whilebeta 2 showed up yesterday
evening
, it is high time to move on to analyzing the results:

First of all, let's come back to one point. With iOS 7 Apple decided to put
in danger by disrupting a well-known and appreciated interface, but which dated
from 2007. If the design has been completely transformed, new
features are also there, but you will have to wait until fall
so that everyone can have them on hand.

The answers are therefore for the vast majority oneprinting on
look at ads and screens
, knowing that only a few
only people are already using iOS 7 and it is still a version
not finalized. It is therefore aphoto of the welcome reserved for work
d’Apple
that we are taking today, photo which will becompared
in your real opinion when iOS 7 will be available for all machines, this
autumn
.

For our survey, the question was:Comment
do you find the new iOS 7?
The possible answers were
simple :

  • Top – I love it!
  • Not bad
  • Ugh, could have done better
  • Yuck, disappointed

Finally, it emerges from this survey thatyou are overall
rather satisfied withiOS 7
, with
39.7% who are excitedet28% find it “not
mal"
.

It therefore seems that Apple has succeeded in its bet sincemore than 2/3
of you are satisfied with the announcements and new features regarding iOS
7
.

Overall, the change was expected after many years with a
almost unchanged design and the risk taken with a drastic change seems
pay while adding long-awaited features like
Shortcuts via the “control center” please the majority. Among the
comments posted on the article, we note for example

Seth:For having installed it and for being in the process of
testing at the moment, apart from the slightly laggy side at the moment... it's a
little breath of air. No major upheaval, but improvements
practicality and design from top to bottom so as not to lose anyone, but to
satisfy as many people as possible.

or again:

Zombie51:Frankly, at first, I found the icons
average reception. But when used, you get used to it very quickly and all
the new features are all perfect!

However, and as one might expect,iOS
7
is not unanimous and more than 32% do not really seem
satisfied (18.4% of Bof – could have done better and 14% of Yuck – disappointed). THE
bias regarding bright colors has its detractors of course, while
that others regret the lack of functional progress in this version.

Among the comments on the article, some opinions:

Jazz:Very nice interface, but the icons are too
simplified. The icons in settings look great on iOS 6 and
should have stayed like that under iOS 7 but apart from that everything else seems
interesting

or again:

mbk28:If overall it's good though
the white adjustment menu is super bad, you have to deactivate the brightness
automatic otherwise in 5 minutes we no longer see anything. Gray folders are
also bad, I expected better

Of course, this survey reveals the hot reactions of users who,
for the majority, have not yet had iOS 7 in hand. Moreover, when we were
accustomed to an interface and a design for several years, a change
important always requires time to adapt. It will therefore be particularly
interesting to see the first reactions to the release of IOS 7.

Let Apple refine itsiOS 7like she has
already started doing it withthe
beta 2 version seen here
and, once the general public version is released, it will be
time to ask yourself the same question to compare the
results !

The survey remains open and if you were unable to give your opinion, you
