We are starting to get used to this virtual format, since this is the 4th Apple conference presented in this way, with Tim Cook introducing the new features and his collaborators presenting them in more detail. Everything is put together once again with beautiful fluidity, dynamism and high-flying transitions. No break either between the announcements, of which there were many today. Here they are detailed below.

As many informants have anticipated, the iMac is taking over from the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air in the transition to the Apple silicon platform. The Apple-branded all-in-one now includes an Apple Ax chip.
Several colors are now available for this machine, which also displays a new thinner design with a more edge-to-edge screen.

Here are several of the specific features of this new generation iMac:
- Apple M1 chipinside, advertised as 85% more powerful than the previous generation Intel processor with 21.5-inch screen
- New internal design with reduced fan size (Apple promises less than 10 dB in normal use)
- 11.5mm thickfor the box!
- Screen of24 inchesin a larger body than the previous generation 21.5-inch iMac
- Retina panel with True Tone technology, 11.3 million pixels for 4.5K resolution
- Webcam FaceTime 1080p
- Voice pickup system with 3 microphones, taking advantage of beamforming technology to limit the impact of surrounding noise
- 6-speaker sound reproduction system with Spatial Audio support
- New magnetic connector for power, also supporting an ethernet connection
Andnew Magic Keyboardis also announced by Apple, with different color variations, to match the new iMac. But the big news for this new generation accessory is the implementation of a Touch ID sensor.

New Magic Mouse and Magic TrackPad are also on the menu, with a choice of several colors. But without noticeable change.
Price and availability:
- €1,449 with 8-core CPU (7-core GPU), 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM
- €1,669 with 8-core CPU (8-core GPU), 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM
- €1,669 with 8-core CPU (8-core GPU), 512 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM
The 7-core GPU version has a case with only 2 Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports and does not include Gigabit Ethernet. Both 8-core GPU versions include 2 Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports + 2 USB 3 ports and Gigabit Ethernet, as well as the new keyboard with Touch ID. They are also available in 7 finishing variations, compared to only 4 for the 7-core GPU version.
Orders will be possible fromnext April 30for deliveries from mid-May.
iPad Pro: M1 here
The Apple M1 chip is arriving on iPad Pro, as some rumors had announced, as part of a generation renewal. Here is an extract from thetechnical sheet of this iPad Pro version 2021, more powerful, faster and more autonomous:
- Port USB-C compatible Thunderbolt et USB 4
- Apple M1 processor with up to16 GB of RAM
- Storage up to2 To
- Compatibility with Apple Pro Display XDR in 6K
- Support of the5G
- New 12-megapixel FaceTime camera with ultra-wide-angle sensor. The latter is capable of intelligently zooming in on a person or a group of people, in videoconferencing for example.
- New Liquid Retina XRD panel for the 12.9-inch large-screen iPad Pro with better contrast and brightness
Note that a new gray version is available for the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro keyboard protection.

Apple TV 4K: new generation and Siri Remote revisited
A new generation of television boxes is finally here, with the following features:
- Equipped with chipA12 Bionic
- Compatible with Dolby Vision technology
- New technology allowing automatic adjustment of the television image connected to the Apple TV, based on what the iPhone sees

Anew Siri Remoteis also there, with a new design, notably benefiting from a sort of circular joystick. The controller housing is made from recycled aluminum.

This next-generation Siri Remote, delivered with the new Apple TV, is also compatible with the previous generation Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. It can therefore be purchased separately for €65.

AirTag item tracker: it's no longer a legend
D-day for object sensorsAirTag, they are finally offered by Apple after months of rumors about them. Here are their characteristics:

The AirTag can be spotted by other users' iPhones.
