A new study by CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, LLC) tends to tell us which are the most popular iPhones of the moment. Only the iPhone 14 Plus is absent from the firm's ranking, probably because everything suggests that this versionfailed to convince the crowds, like the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini in their time.
Conversely, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro would be the most sold from the latest collectionduring the month of September 2022, with 9% of all iPhone sales. The new models had just been released then, which explains why the iPhone 13 Pro Max remains the most efficient over the same period with 21% of the total volume. Of course, let's remember that these are estimates, to be considered with a pinch of salt. In fact, the manufacturer does not reveal such statistics and does not confirm those of CIRP. Apple is content to unveilits turnover and profits each quarter, but only by major product category (iPhone, Mac, iPad, services and wearables).
128 GB is too little
Another interesting number is found in the internal storage capacities offered. Here, we see that the base price with only 128 GB of memory only seems to have attracted 33% of iPhone 14 Pro buyers. However, they would behalf to opt for the 256 GB version, 6% even going as far as the version with 1 TB. This could be explained by the absence of a micro SD card slot. However, Apple offers iCloud+ plansfrom 0.99 euros per month for 50 GB online. The price rises to 2.99 euros per month for 200 GB, to compare with the additional 130 euros to pay to go from 128 to 256 GB on iPhone 14 Pro.

As for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which are the most expensive models with 6.7 inches at the withers, the 128 GB version would still remain the most sold with 30% of sales, compared to 27% for the 256 GB, 23% for the 512 GB and 17% for the 1 TB version. With respective prices of1 479 euros, 1,609 euros, 1,869 euros or 2,129 euros. The photo sensor is the same as on the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro.
Loss of speed for iPhone 12
As for older generations, CIRP suggests that the iPhone 12, which represented 17% of all iPhones sold as of September 2021, is now only entitled to7% market sharein the field now. These are still available in the Apple Store from 809 euros in blue, purple, light green, white, black or red.
Finally, these are theiPhone 13 qThey would benefit from this change, going from 7% of the pie to no less than 15% today. Price: from 909 euros in 128 GB, with an A15 Bionic chip under the hood as for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, but one less graphics card core and without accident detection.
