After many rumors and leaks
in every sense, tonight was the moment of truth for all fans
of iPhone. Unsurprisingly, the conference was long and full of new features.
Tim Cook revealed the iPhone 5 we've all been waiting for, but also a
series of accessories and a new range of iPods.
This conference was also the occasion for a return to iOS 6 which
will arrive very soon in our iPhones and iPads.

A video and some figures to get started
As Tim Cook enters the scene, he cuts straight to a video of
the Apple store in Barcelona of which he seems particularly proud. It is
also the opportunity to take a quick look at the Apple 380 and their 83

As usual and to keep the suspense a little, the keynote took place
continued with the announcement ofsome striking figures for
Apple:
- 7 million copies of OSXMountain sold
- 17 million iPads sold in the second quarter of 2012et 84

walk. - The App Store now has 700,000 applications, 250,000 of which are compatible

The iPhone 5 finally revealed
The least we can say is that this year the leaks around
the iPhone have been numerous. Therefore, this keynote was to confirm or
invalidate what we already knew about the iPhone 5. Result, we must
admit that most of the rumors were true. Back to what
the iPhone 5 promises us.
- The 4 inch screen
We've already talked about it a lot, but now it's official:
iPhone 5 will mark the change in screen size. Now the iPhone
will take up a little more space in your pocket since its screen will be
4 inches. Apple still talks about Retina screen (326ppi). On the resolution side and
unsurprisingly, the iPhone goes this evening to 1136×640, that is to say the same width,
but a little higher.
Obviously, all Apple apps, whether native or
available on the App Store have been optimized for this new screen.
With this new screen, there are no longer 4 but 5 rows of icons which
will appear on each page.
- Bigger, but thinner
If the iPhone has gained a little height, it has also undergone a cure
slimming compared to the iPhone 4S. It is now 18% thinner and 20%
lighter indeed, and this is mainly due to the new technology
used by Apple for the screen, the iPhone 5 will be a little thinner than its
predecessor.
- The 4Gbut not everywhere
The iPhone 5 will be 4G compatible. This time, Apple did not take any
risks and listed the countries which could benefit from them such as the USA,
Australia, Canada…, it seems that France does not have this
chance !
- Photo and videos in the spotlight
The iPhone 5 will arrive with a smaller, more precise photo sensor (8MP) coupled
to the A6 processor for better performance particularly in the event of
poor lighting. With the iPhone, it will also be possible to make
panoramas. In terms of video, the iPhone 5 will film in HD 1080p on the back and 720P
at the front.

If the iPhone retains its ability to reduce noise, it will now be
equipped with three microphones (bottom, front and back)
- A reworked design
Even if it is not a radical change, it is obvious that the
iPhone design has been reworked. Some will say that we recognize a little
