macOS Ventura 13.4: the complete list of changes

May 18 update: the final version is available,as seen in our columns.

On March 28, 2023,Apple has launched the beta testing phase for macOS 13.4. Below are the notable new features that the update contains at this stage.

In addition to the arrival of security patches and bug fixes, note the following additions:

Control center:a new indication in the form of a blue dot alerts the user when the computer knows its location. By clicking on the Control Center, it is also possible to see which applications are taking advantage of location information
Apple News (unavailable in France to date): the same new features as for iOS 16.5, including a new “Sports” tab

Sports feed in the sidebar of Apple News gives easy access to stories, scores, standings, and more, for the teams and leagues you follow
My Sports score and schedule cards in Apple News take you directly to game pages where you can find additional details about specific games
Resolves an issue where Auto Unlock with Apple Watch does not log you into your Mac
Fixes a Bluetooth issue where keyboards connect slowly to Mac after restarting
Addresses a VoiceOver issue with navigating to landmarks on webpages
Fixes an issue where Screen Time settings may reset or not sync across all devices
