Next February, Apple will unveil its
next quarterly results which are even more anticipated than usual,
because the Cupertino company could announce record figures thanks to
especially the iPhone X.
However, a new report from KGI does not seem to go in this direction, because the
analysis firm estimates that Apple should sell approximately18 millions
d’iPhone Xduring thefirst quarter of 2018,
i.e. a figure below the other predictions of analysts who count on
20-30 millions.
KGI also reaffirmshis predictions for the three
next iPhonewhich would be revealed at the start of the 2018 school year, namely a
6.1-inch model with LCD screen, andsuccessor to
l’iPhone Xand alarge 6.5 inch modelor iPhone X
Plus.
This KGI report also suggests that the Apple firm
would completely stop production of the iPhonewhen the
Next models would be in the mass production phase.
This last information should be taken with a grain of salt because Apple keeps
usually older models for several generations while
reducing the price.
KGI analysts review their iPhone
decline, because they claim that the iPhone X would not have had the results
expected in China, and that the Chinese keep their smartphone for a
slightly longer duration.
According to KGI, approximately18 millions
of unitselapsed for the first quarter of 2018 and approximately
13 million iPhone Xs in the second quarter. The analysts
also claim thatthe iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 would continue to
sell well.
Finally, according to the firm's analysts, the6.1-inch model with
LCD screenplanned for next fall would be sold approximately
650-750 dollars, and would be the new entry-level which
would replace the current iPhone X.
