According to several reports, including that of analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will unveil its highly anticipated multi-device wireless charger during the first half of the year, as well as the second generation of AirPods.
We now learn via the Applesfera site that AirPods 2 could be releaseda few days after the next Apple conference, which would take placenext March 25, according to BuzzFeed sources.
More precisely, the Applesfera site brings forward the date of29 marsasAirPods 2 release date. The information would come from a document from inventory management software used on a production line of Apple products in China.
This screenshot would show the date March 28 asend of life cycle datefor the current version of AirPods. This would suggest a replacement by a new generation.
This is not the first time that this date has been mentioned. At the beginning of February,the Greek tech site iphonehellas claimedaccording to their source close to the production lines in China, that pre-orders for the AirPods 2, the AirPower and the new iPads should start on Friday March 22.
This same source from iphonehellas affirmed that these new products will be available a week later in stores, on Friday March 29.
The Apple event scheduled for March 25 would focus on Apple's new services, however it is not impossible that Apple will announce some new products on this occasion.
We think oftwo new iPads, the iPad mini 5, the iPad 2019, as well as the AirPower charger and the AirPods 2, unless there is just a new wireless charging case for the AirPods, and a real new version of the AirPods to autumn.
