Update 6:10 p.m.: it's officially announced by Apple, next keynote on April 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. local time, 7 p.m. French time.

Smart iPhone and iPad users realized a few hours ago that Siri already had information about the date of an upcoming Apple event. Indeed, by asking the voice assistant: “When is the next Apple Event?”, the answer obtained is the following:

“The special event is on Tuesday, April 20, atApple Parkin Cupertino, CA. You can get all the details on Apple.com.”

The message can be translated as follows:“The next Apple event will take place on Tuesday, April 20 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Full details can be found on Apple.com.”

If we can doubt the official nature of this announcement, everything suggests that an Apple keynote will take place next week. On the one hand, Apple usually prepares the tech world on D-7 for a new conference scheduled for D-Day. On the other hand, the latest information from sources close to the Californian company and analysts mentions the arrival , in the second half of April, fromnew products marked with apple.

What announcements Tuesday April 20, 2021?

Presumably, Apple should present during the eventnew iPad Pro. Two new models are expected, one 11 inches, the other 12.9 inches. The latter would be equipped with anew miniLED panel. Both would integrate a new processor chip, but alsopossibly a 5G modem, in line with the latest iPhone 12. Additional clue supporting the appearance of two new iPad Pros next year: the two latest generation models were released in spring last year, in March precisely.

An iPad mini 6 could also be seen during the keynote, with a newmore edge-to-edge design, but without Face ID. The current generation model was released in March 2020.

Finally, a 14″ MacBook Prowould be in the cardsfor a while in the Californian's laboratories, it would not be impossible for Tim Cook to say a few words to us on this subject. Same for a new iMac withApple silicon chip and new case.

Otherwise, the output of object trackers, or “AirTags”, isanticipated for several months already. They could be the “One More Thing” of the presentation, or not be seen at all, which wouldn't be a disappointment either. Indeed, by waiting for almost a half year now, following the declarations of various informants, the buzz has had time to run out of steam...

We will obviously know morenext Tuesday April 20, presumed date therefore, of the next Apple keynote. The latter will probably take place at 7 p.m. French time.

What new features would you like to see next Tuesday during the keynote?
