In a publication shared on his Twitter profile, Tim Cook pays a vibrant tribute to Steve Jobs, founder of Applemorttwelve years ago. The current number one of the Apple firm explains that the one who preceded him in this position was his “mentor“. It must be said that he would have decided to join the company that manufactures Macs just after meeting him, in 1998. In any case, this is what the main person said during a conference with academics.
Since his arrival at the head of Apple, Tim Cook has drastically changed the way the company works. In particular, it has become more open to the media, so much so that we can now see some of its executives interacting directly with the media: television, magazines, videographers on YouTube... Under Steve Jobs, this was quite simply impossible. But his successor's strategy seems to be paying off, because Apple is today the group with the largest capitalization on the Wall Street stock exchange.
Thinking back on a pioneer who challenged conventions, a visionary who changed the world, a mentor, and a friend. We miss you, Steve.pic.twitter.com/rKn6mBHecI

And "visionary“…
Steve Jobs, for his part, was notably at the origin of the success of the first iMac – which will allow Apple to regain strength when its finances were on the verge of collapse. It was in 1997 that the historic founder of the brand joined the ship again, after having been ousted for a few years. In the meantime, he founded the software publisher NeXT, which was bought by Apple upon his return.
It was also Steve Jobs who presented the very first iPhone, as recently as 2007. Under his leadership, Apple also launched the iPads, which are todaypublished in no less than four different collections, a sign of their strong success. The classic models are the most affordable, followed by the iPad mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro.
…but with a strong character
Despite everything, Steve Jobs was sometimes difficult to live with – as many testimonies from his colleagues tell us. The CEO did not hesitate to attack some of his subordinates if he judged that their work was not up to his expectations. Sometimes without even justifying herself, which is of course reminiscent of the practices of Rebekah Neumann, who thanked certain WeWork employees because she simply did not like their “energy“.
Steve Jobs was also particularly stubborn, and will refuse not only the treatment of traditional medicine in favor of pseudoscience, but also an organ offered by Tim Cook on a platter when he was on the verge of death. He ended up being struck down by cancer in 2011.
