Tumblr beats Facebook to support “Live” photos on iPhone 6s/Plus

Facebook was one of the first to
confirm upcoming support for Live Photosfor his social network. But
in practice, it isTumblrwho took the lead thanks to a
recent update of the blogging application, which therefore allows you to use
Live Photos taken with iPhone 6s and 6s Plus:

  Tumblr is available here on the App Store

Users of the Tumblr application can therefore upload Live Photos
on their blog, but also read and share them, while the support goes
well beyond Live Photo since the service also allows the use
GIFs and other animated images.

Another important new feature of the update,3D support
Touchfor iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Pressing the icon
the application allows you to open shortcuts for using the service, such as
enabling Live Photos, access to search and quick access to
other Tumblrs. Tumblr is therefore added tothe
list of more than 40 applications benefiting from 3D Touch on the latest
iPhone

Please note, it is only via the Tumblr application on iOS that a Live Photo
will be viewable as such.

Also note that there are certain appspour
share Live Photo as GIFand therefore with people neither possessing nor
Apple computer or iOS phone.

Some apps like
Live Pictures Cam, allow them to take Live Photo on
devices other than iPhone 6s / 6s Plus.
