Twitch (finally) arrives on Apple TV

If the Twitch application for Apple TV has been in beta for a few weeks, its arrival on the Apple brand's device is now official. Fans of the video game and show streaming service can now take advantage of it.

The Twitch application offers the same possibilities as the web version of the Amazon service, that is to say the possibility of enjoying video game streams, chatting or broadcasting your videos live.

This Twitch application dedicated to Apple TV would influence specific content, so much so that in the United States, it includes streaming of American football. This suggests that the app could focus on videos specific to certain regions. It remains to be seen whether this will also become widespread in France.

As a reminder,Spotifyrecently arrived on Apple TV, which was not the case until now. The application is now available on tvOS, which allows users to listen to their favorite music directly from the dedicated app.

In the same way as for Twitch, all features are taken into account, such as personalized playlists like Discoveries of the Week or Release Radar. However, the Daily Mix would not be there. Overall, the arrival of Spotify means that you will no longer need to use AirPlay to use the music streaming service.
