Macro videos on iPhone 13 Pro are surprising

Since the presentation of the iPhone 13 Pro, fans of successful shots have had a field day when it comes to focusing on the telephoto lens of their new mobile. We have already had the opportunity to discover some very beautiful works captured up close,as evidenced by this collection. Today, these are the videos that caught our attention. In particular that of a certain Jason O.

Available entirely at this address (on the official Apple Instagram account), we recognize a caterpillar, which then transforms into a chrysalis before taking flight as a butterfly. Moments of life that obviously would not have been possible to immortalize other than with a macro sensor. If you do not wish to access the Facebook social network for reasons of confidentiality, do not hesitate to consult this second capture:

A very faithful and noiseless result

In the second video of the day, we begin by seeing the nose of a dog whose realism is particularly striking at such a distance. The camera then lands on a toy quad bike that, although no bigger than a hand, looks like it came straight off a dirt road. Drops of water ready to fall, a spider, tree leaves or even the male plug of a USB cable also stand out very well even in 4K.

Don’t hesitate to also check out this video, still on YouTube:

Shoot videos with iPhone 13 Pro

L’iPhone 13 Pro et l’iPhone 13 Pro Maxboth have an equivalent rear camera. This consists of three twelve megapixel sensors:

  • the telephoto lens with ƒ/2.8 aperture
  • the wide-angle with ƒ/1.5 aperture
  • ultra-wide-angle with ƒ/1.8 aperture

To intelligently blur the background of your creations, the duo also comes with the recent Cinematic mode. Recording is possible up to 4K with Apple's new ProRes format. It is also possible to film in slow motion, up to 240 frames per second. The zoom, for its part, reaches 9x in digital compared to only 2x in optical. Finally, it is interesting to note that stabilization is also included to prevent blur in the event of movement.
