Vision Pro: it gets complicated for glasses wearers

A few days before the release ofnew Vision Pro helmetin the United States, serious things begin. Since its presentation, we have known in particular that this device is not without problems for glasses wearers. The latter will in fact have to acquire corrective lenses specially designed by the company ZEISS with which Apple has partnered.

A coupling device that intrigues

This is the ZEISS Optical Inserts packaging for Apple Vision Pro.

"When you open the box, you'll find a pair of ZEISS Optical Inserts, the personal code for pairing the ZEISS Optical Inserts to the Apple Vision Pro and the Instructions for Use. Apple Vision Pro is not…pic.twitter.com/HAas5E6eTL

What we didn't know, however, is that a special culprit process is planned to make this system work. It was M1Astra who revealed this on the social network“scan the pairing code on the card inside the ZEISS optical inserts box to finalize the pairing process”.

However, no one yet knows what this action will be used for. M1Astra has in any case noticed that ZEISS lenses have an individual serial number. Therefore, some observers wonder if Apple will not verify the authenticity of these.

As our colleagues from9to5mac, the Cupertino company intends at all costs to avoid the use of poor quality lenses which could damage the user's vision. It is therefore possible that no manufacturer other than ZEISS will be authorized on the Vision Pro.

While waiting to learn more about this headset, optimism seems to be in order on the side of the Tech giant. Moreover, the company can be proud of the recent forecasts of analysts fromla Bank of Americawho are betting on a sharp rise in Apple stock following the launch of the Vision Pro.
