Vision Pro: forgetting your password means a big hassle

Most of the time, forgetting a password is not a major problem. It is often possible to reset it by email, and the process only takes a few minutes. It is not the same with the Vision Pro as reported by the agencyBloomberg.

Indeed, if they forget their code to launch the device, customers are asked to return the product to a store or mail it to Apple customer support. The Cupertino company itself takes care of erasing the password and resetting it.

Dissatisfied customers

As Mark Gurman explains, this could prove very frustrating for users. Moreover, if they make a mistake when entering their code, the Vision Pro will be deactivated. A waiting period is then initiated for security purposes, and if they still cannot find their password at this end, the reset procedure will have to be initiated.

This is all the more surprising since Apple does not apply the same method for its other devices, and in particular the Apple Watch which you can reconfigure yourself manually if you forget the code.

For the moment, the Apple brand has not responded to our colleague who suggests that a software update could correct this problem.
