Wall Street expects record revenue for Apple in October

JP Morgan, a world-renowned investment bank, estimates that Apple could announce revenues of $90 billion for the period from July to September 2022. For comparison, the company had achieved a turnover of $83.4 billion for the same quarter the previous year.

With this, our source of the day also counts on55 millions d’iPhonedelivered, three more than in 2021. Several mobiles could explain this success, starting with the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max which seem to be selling the best at the moment. These were accompanied by the “classic” iPhone 14 and the more affordable iPhone 14 Plus when they were released.

Better for 2023?

According to JP Morgan's estimates, it would therefore be wise to buy AAPL shares today. Recently, the group was betting on a surge in the price of the stock towards200 dollars, against 138.34 this morning so that the price still seems to have good days ahead of it. Of course, this is at your own risk: Apple is also experiencing some slowdowns to take into account.

Among these, we can notably cite a demand perhaps less significant than expected concerning precisely the new iPhones, according toanother study that we once again owe to JP Morgan. Different factors would explain these figures, includingrising pricedevices compared to that of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. For the basic version, the manufacturer went from 909 euros in 2021 to 1,019 euros today.

See you in two weeks

Apple will reveal its next quarterly results on October 27. At his side will then be Tim Cook, CEO of Cupertino since the departure of Steve Jobs in 2011.

The numbers to expect will be divided into product categories. Firstly, the iPhones, which will undoubtedly represent the biggest part of the pie. Next will probably come theservices, then Macs, wearables (AirPods, Apple Watch), computers (MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini) and touchscreen tablets (iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini).
