Mark it in your diary: on December 2, the new film starring Will Smith is released in theaters.Emancipationtells the story of a slave who tries to find his family in the United States, crossing Louisiana while fleeing landowners who tried to kill him. The work is produced by Antoine Fuqua, whom we have already seen behind the camera ofTraining Day,The Magnificent Seven(as producer) orThe Equalizer.
This feature film, produced by Apple, will then be made available to TV+ subscribers fromFriday December 9. To view it, you will need an account for 4.99 euros per month. See you at the Oscars
According to the specialized press which was interested in the matter, this calendar was chosen because it allowed Apple to position itself for the 95th Acadamy Awards ceremony, in other words the famousOscars cinema. This event will indeed reward 2022 releases, even thoughCupertino had already been crowned withCODAduring the previous edition.
