The Apple Watch antenna soon to be moved to the bracelet?

A patent filed two weeks ago already suggestedthat Apple was considering using the bracelet of its connected watchin order to save space and functionality. According to this document, the Apple Watch could integrate sensors rather than positioning them directly in the device.

An antenna in the Apple Watch bracelet for a bigger battery?

This new patent focuses on the antenna of the Apple Watch, a device that the brand uses on its 4G models. For the moment, the latter is logically positioned in the connected watch case, but it could well be different in the future. The images suggest that the antenna in question could migrate into the bracelet, a solution that would save Apple space.

In the documents, the American company writes: “It may be desirable to place some components outside the rigid case to make more efficient use of the space inside the case.". Apple adds: “Elle[the antenna, Editor’s note]could also be hidden to improve the aesthetic appearance of the bracelet».

However, we do not know how Apple could exploit this space gained thanks to this change, but the brand could perhaps work on a thinner model or with a larger battery.

On the other hand, Apple could also integratenew devices dedicated to health, a project on which the brand confirmed that it would continue to focus on in the years to come.
