More specifically, and based on information from Apple subcontractors, the article indicates that in the third quarter of 2021 we could learn more about this project that we have been hearing about for a long time now, under the name of code “Titan”. Production of parts for the Apple Car product could start as early as next April according to the source.
Except that at the moment, we don't really know what to expect. Previous rumors on the subject had long spoken of Apple and possibly a partner manufacturer building a car, while more recently the project was reportedly redirected and focused on the software and design of an autonomous driving system.
Apple's historic subcontractor, TSMC, already signing processors for iPhone and Apple Silicon,would be therefor this Apple Car project, as part of the manufacturing of a chip underlying autonomous driving technologies. In any case, note that the information from the Economic Daily Nesw for the release of the Apple Car in 2021 seems quite doubtful.
