If not all the “One More Things” in Apple's history are necessarily memorable, some of them have remained in the annals. It is also, thanks to these, that we are still waiting for the next One More Thing as THE most significant new product announced as part of a Keynote. And a few days fromApple Back-to-School Event on September 9, we wanted to dream a little while hoping to see one of these 3 ideas come to fruition for a One More Thing of the great years.
The HomePod with screen
At the start of the year, we heard a lot about a new generation of HomePod supposed to come in 2024 and with some particularities. The speaker would include a touch screen. The information was even supported by Mark Gurman, a renowned informant in the Apple universe. We were also able to see the beast in pictures, at least that's what some Twitter/X posts in the spring were able to relay.

However, in recent weeks, the rumors announcing a new HomePod have become much more discreet. Let's not lose hope of seeing Apple finally align with the Amazon Echo Show and Google Nest, for a musical home automation assistant that is finally complete.
AirTag 2
The AirTag sensor was presented on April 20, 2021. It was released on the market a few days later. It has not been improved since. We could therefore expect, more than 3 years later, that Apple will push it back to the forefront, by launching a second generation.Latest news, Apple may well have a new tracker in its pipeline. And Mark Gurman last May was counting on a release of this AirTag v2 next year, reinforcing afirst prediction signed Ming-Chi Kuo. Since the spring, however, no other reliable specialist has come to strengthen the case. We can therefore quite imagine a surprise called “AirTag” during Monday’s keynote.
Concerning the improvements, it would a priori involve equipping the sensor with a new chip making its geolocation function even more precise and powerful. An improvement in autonomy would not be too much either, even if the object in its first version has nothing to be ashamed of on this subject.

AirPods Max 2
Another candidate for the One More Thing, and not the least, the second version of the AirPods Max headset. Launched in 2020, the AirPods Max(s) marked a great development in the AirPods range at Apple, becoming the first headset (excluding Beats) launched by the Californian on the market. Despite a high price, the product has attracted great audio quality and above all active noise cancellation technology that rivals the best competitors on the market.
Several analysts have already mentioned the preparation of a V2, including Mark Gurmanat the start of the year. More recently, the same man even clarified that a new generation AirPods Max could see the light of dayfrom next Monday, during the Keynote. It would be a gentle evolution, however, with a move from Lightning to USB-C as well as probable improvements in battery life and audio quality.
So much for these 3 proposals from One More Thing. Don't hesitate to tell us in the comments which of them you would like to see Monday evening during the Apple Event.
