Apple and Amazon, after having been at loggerheads in recent years, have moved significantly closer together in recent weeks. The two companiesrecently concluded a dealto officially sell Apple products on the Amazon platform.
This rapprochement will go a step further, sinceApple Music will soon be available on Amazon Echo connected speakers. It's quite rare for Apple to integrate its services into products other than its own.
Amazon's Echo smart speakers already support several music streaming services, such as Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn. FromDecember 17next,Apple Music will be available on Amazon speakers.
Amazon Echo users will be able to ask Alexa on their speaker to play their favorite songs, artists and albums. It will also be possible to listen to the different Apple Music radio stations.
Starting December 17, Echo users can activate Apple Music in the Alexa app, link their Apple Music account, and start listening to their music.
