Apple Pay in new countries, including France?

In
September 2014, Appleannounced a new payment systemsans contact, Apple
Pay, with availability planned for the United States initially
with, then, a very gradual deployment in the rest of the world. In 2015,
the United Kingdom was thefirst and still remains the only European countryto be entitled to the
Apple's payment solution.

However, it seems that Apple Pay could landin France in
first semester course
of this year. Indeed, according to a source
French from our colleagues at iGen, Apple could "soon" announce the
availability of the service in France.

Apple could well make this announcement during the keynote in March,
or at WWDC in June.

Canada was thefirst French-speaking countryto see Apple Pay arrive in November
last year, thanks to an exclusive partnership with American Express.

Spainwould also be the second or third country
European to benefit from Apple Pay, with, as for Canada, assistance
d’American Express.

In the meantime, outside Europe, the next country which should see soon
landing Apple Pay will certainly beChina, car Apple a pu
sign a partnership with UnionPay.
