Apple prepares iOS 17.2.1 to fix many bugs

Apple is reportedly testing a new update to its iPhone operating system internally. With the arrival of iOS 17.2 a few weeks ago, the Apple brand has caused numerous bugs to appear on the devices of users around the world. To correct them quickly, a minor update would be under development on the Cupertino side.

According to information collected on the subject by Macrumors, a site specializing in Apple news, this new update should not bring any interesting features, but simply focus on resolving several bugs. Apple could, however, take its time before deploying this update.

iOS 17.2.1: not before mid-January

La Pomme will suffer weeks of understaffing at the end of December and the deployment of such a software change will only be possible when the full teams return. We will therefore have to wait until mid-January to see iOS 17.2.1 on our devices.

However, this update will not be exceptional and many users risk installing it without even realizing it. Above all, it will correct display and connection problems on several applications. It will also be a great entry point for Apple on our iPhones in order to preparethe arrival of iOS 17.3, scheduled for February.

Newspaper, the little news

iOS 17 is the iPhone operating system for the year 2023-2024. Presented last June at WWDC, this software update brought many new features to the iPhone. Recently, with iOS 17.2, a brand new application was released. It is about“Journal”.

It allows you to take notes and write down your thoughts, like a diary. This practice has benefits for mental health, in particular it helps reduce stress and anxiety attacks.
