Apple TV+ didn't do things by halves. The streaming platform has just released a video which presents most of its upcoming series this year. Many original creations will be a hit with subscribers in 2024. We have chosen to focus on 5 contents that we particularly like.

This series will be broadcast from Wednesday February 14 on the streaming service. We will follow the true story of Christian Dior (Ben Mendelsohn) and Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche) in Paris during the Second World War. These ten episodes will show us how these two fashion legends navigated the horrors of conflict while thinking about what's next.
The synopsis shared by the apple brand specifies:“The intertwined saga follows the surprising stories of Dior's contemporaries and rivals, from Chanel to Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga and many others, and offers breathtaking views of the atelier, designs and garments created by Dior in collaboration with the House of Dior. »
Palm Royale

Launched on March 20, this ten-episode series also caught our eye. The streaming platform describes it as follows:
Palm Royale is a true underdog story that follows Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig) as she attempts to break into the high society of Palm Beach in 1969. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Palm Royale asks the same question that still baffles us today: "How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?" ".
This is an adaptation of the novelMr. & Mrs. American Pieby Juliet McDaniel which looks quite promising by relying on an experienced cast, and in particular the Hollywood legend Laura Dern.
Sugar

This original eight-episode creation will debut on April 5 on the service. It will star Colin Farrell who will play a private detective. Apple describes it like this:
John Sugar, an American private investigator who follows the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also uncover the secrets of the Siegel family; some very recent, others buried for a long time.
It remains to be seen whether this production will live up to expectations. Certain series have raised the level in the genre this year, and in particularCriminal RecordetTrue Detective.
Franklin

This miniseries arrives on April 12 on the platform. It is produced by Michael Douglas who also plays the lead role. It is an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Stacy Schiff:The great improvisation: Benjamin Franklin, France and the birth of the United States.
“By December 1776, Franklin was world famous for his electrical experiments, but his passion and power were tested when—with the fate of American independence hanging in the balance—he embarked on a secret mission to France », describes the streaming service. We can't wait to better understand how this hero of democratic America managed to convince the French absolute monarchy which was then clearly not in good spirits with this political regime.
