The description provided by the service speaks for itself. Far from the news and their scary news, it’s about staying positive: “How can we get through this crisis while remaining ourselves and retaining all of our humanity? In this series, Oprah has remote conversations with experts and everyday people to provide insight, meaning, and tangible guidance for the human spirit.»

For her first episode, Oprah Winfrey therefore chose to callIdris Elba who tested positive for coronavirus. An American-style show, she also teases the rest of the show by explaining that her wife Sabrina Dhowre will reveal whether or not she has contracted the disease…

The existence of this series called “Oprah Talks COVID-19» owes nothing to chance in any case. In 2018, the presenter signed a multi-year partnership contract with Apple. This also makes it possible to fill the Apple TV+ catalog in a period where the companyhad to stop productionof its original series.
