Autonomy is always a sensitive subject when a new version of iOS comes onto the market. Moreover, so far, iOS 17 seems to be rather spared compared to previous versions in terms of complaints of reduced autonomy. All the same, it seemed important to us to take stock of the issue. So, does iOS 17 impact iPhone battery life? If so, is it good or bad?

Survey: what about your side?
A simple YouTube video obviously does not ensure that updating to iOS 17 will not change the battery life of your device. This is why we believe it is important to have additional data. For these purposes, we are launching this simple survey:
Be careful though:If you have just installed iOS 17, it is normal to experience a drop in battery life in the hours that follow. Indeed, the iPhone must adapt to new features. And it is not uncommon for background tasks to be launched following the update to update the index of your applications, for Spotlight and Siri for example, but also for your photo library. However, this can be particularly energy-consuming if you have thousands of photos and videos on your smartphone.
Please, therefore, only complete the survey if you installed iOS 17 at least 2 days ago.
