It isTeslawho made the news very recently with the
launch of its “Model 3”. We mentioned it here, the American manufacturer has
garnered more than 115,000 reservations before the car was even released

For its part, Apple remainsdiscreet but not inactivefor his
autonomous electric car project. It is a local newspaper which indicates it, the
electronic equipment manufacturer now occupies several spaces
industrial in the "Silicon Valley", south of San Francisco.
Various sites have thus been invested by the giant and to find their way, these
were given names from Greek mythology.
In a context ofproject named in
internal "Titan", we note that the largest of the buildings is called “Rhea”,
which is nothing other than the name of a "titanide" (seehere on
wikipedia). It is within this large hangar that the activity would be most
significant currently, with in particular a lot of noise (including at night,
which led to complaints in the neighborhood). The official documents of the
city thus indicate activities likelubrication, change of
tires, balancing.
Another building, named "Medusa" houses activities
linked to avision and eye monitoring laboratory
while on the side of "Magnolia", it is an activity
industrial related to materials (“regenerative thermal oxidizer”) which is
cited. Another site, another divinity: "Zeus", a former
laboratory, would be used as a research center. It is indicated as
particularlyprotected from intrusions and prying eyes.
As for the building "Athena", its use remains unknown
this stage.
If there remained any doubt regarding Apple's investment in its project
Titan, the space used as well as the activities underway in these different
sites allow it to be lifted.The Apple Car is on the way, or at
minus its different elements. No release before 2019 or 2020 expected
nevertheless !
