This bug on the iPhone 14 Pro turns the phone off completely

The arrival of a new update from Apple often heralds the arrival of bugs of all kinds. Despite the numerous tests carried out internally by the Apple brand, the latter's employees cannot see everything. When a new version of iOS is released during the month of September, it is never completely perfect.

In recent days, iPhone 14 owners, but alsod’iPhone 14 Prothus report bugs to Apple. The most serious of them has already had the right to its corrective software update. This technical issue triggered immense shaking in the rear camera, especially when the latter was used from a third-party application.

iPhone 14 Pro only phones affected?

While this issue has been resolved, it appears that other users are experiencing a very different bug. It still concerns the iPhone 14 Pro which definitely cannot adapt to this new update. With a unique A16 chip, this year’s “high-end” models from Apple are experiencing a series of problems.

Users affected by this new bug explain that they see their phone turn off when it is charging with MagSafe. Apple's wireless charging solution therefore seems to be at the heart of this new problem. In one user's story, he explains that his iPhone 14 Pro restarts on its own every 10 to 15 minutes while charging.

No updates planned at the moment

In official documentation on the subject, the Apple brand explains that the simplest thing is to reset the phone if this is possible. As a last resort, Apple suggests disabling smart charging. It allows the iPhone to stop charging when it arrives in the last minutes in order to resume it just before the user wakes up (for a full charge at night).

For the moment, no update is planned for iOS 16 to address this problem. It is difficult to assess the number of people affected by such a problem, but Apple does not seem to want to offer universal solutions in the coming days, which allows us to measure the relative importance of this bug.
