Apple has been obliged for a few months by new European regulations to let developers offer their own application store. In this game, Ridley Testut explodes all the scores. The developer, to whom we already owe the emulator of retro delta console has put the double bites in recent weeks to launchl’AltStore PAL. A direct and assumed competitor at the App Store.
In a post made on social network X (ex-owner), the Alstore PAL teams have just unveiledversion 2.1of the application. With this important update, they allow users to install applications even more easily.
Very often these software is not present on other application stores, because they are not in accordance with the rules of the latter. On the Alstore PAL, these applications are present in the form of"Recommended sources"by the team. A way of proceeding which resembles the "favorites" given by Apple to certain applications deemed as particularly qualitative by the Cupertino teams.
Unpublished applications on iPhone
These "sources" will be displayed in a special tab ofl’application AltStore PAL. Among the applications present in this list, we find for example Peopledrop, an application that allows you to meet new people in real life.
Another application, UTMAPP was also highlighted by Alstore developers. This service is an emulator, just like Delta, but it focuses on old PC software like Windows XP Pinball or Adobe Photoshop (before the arrival of Creative Cloud). This application is described as "one of the favorites" of the Alstore team.
These applications, which have not existed on iPhone so far, therefore arrive on millions of iPhone in Europe with alstore. This third -party application store, a competitor of the App Store, should soon be joined by the Epic Games Store. The Tim Sweeney firm should start before the end of the year.
