After installing iOS 11.4, here's how to start sharing iCloud messages between your machines

iOS 11.4 isavailable from
last night
for all users, and this new version brings
several new features such as the AirPlay 2 protocol, but also and above all the
sync messages to iCloud.

The latter allowssync messages via iCloud on
several machines
, namely Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. A
user can for example mark a message as read on all
machines, the same for deleting messages or media content
associates.

However, this functionality is notnot active by default
with iOS 11.4, here ishow to start message sharing
iCloud
between its different machines.

You have to open the applicationSettings, once in
this one,tap your profileat the very top of the page,
selectiCloud, and finally activate the option
"Messages".

Once this option has been enabled, message synchronization via
iCloud is effective on all machines equipped with the latest version of
system.

Note that forthe Mac, it will be necessarywait for a
next update
which should not take long to benefit too
syncing iCloud messages on macOS.
