The Apple developers conference WWDC 2019 (new iOS) for the week of June 3 to 7, 2019?

For many years now, Apple has had the habit of revealing new features and changes to the next major versions of its operating systems during its developer conference or WWDC, which generally takes place in June.

And it would seem, according to a discovery by the MacRumors site, that WWDC 2019 would remain atMcEnery Convention Centerin San Jose. The conference would be heldthe same week in Junethan the previous ones, with the program of the new features expected for iOS 13 and other OS.

WWDC in 2018 took place from June 4 to 8, and from June 5 to 9 in 2017, again at the McEnery Convention Center in San José. It would therefore be logical for the 2019 version to also be held at the beginning of June.

According to a source from the American site MacRumors, and above all a permit request from the city of San José, the next WWDC would be held fromJune 3 to 7.

This permit request, necessary for the organization of a large event, is called “Team San Jose 2019 WWDC“, and it is displayed that this one isorganized by Apple. Which leaves no doubt regarding the nature of this event.

This year's WWDC would therefore be held from June 3 to 7, with the new features on the program foriOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13.

According toseveral reports from Bloomberg, iOS 13 should offer, among other things, adark mode, of theimprovements to CarPlayand oneimproved version of Live Photos, with a duration increasing to6 seconds.

Bloomberg also mentions severalnew iPad-specific features, such as a new home screen, improvements to the file management system (support for external hard drives?) and a tab system for apps (multi-windowing within an app).

Obviously, as is tradition on iPhon.fr, we will cover and comment on this event live when it takes place. Until then, it is not impossible that there will be additional leaks on the next new features of the various Apple OSes.
